Updated skincare routine!

So unfortunately lately my skin has been really bad. Normally my skin is pretty clear with just redness around my nose and the occasional pimple; but this past year my skin has gone haywire! I have tons of redness, pimples all of my face (mostly in the hormone area) and spots. So i've been on search for some new and calming skincare products to try.

My new AM routine is:

Cetaphil Daily Cleanser

Cetaphil daily moisturizer with spf 15

Kiehls avocado eye cream (all time fave)

Philosphy Clear (for spot treatment)

My new PM routine:

Thayers Alcohol Free Lavender, Witch Hazel and Aloe Vera Toner

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream

Philosphy Clear treatment

I have been applying all my moisturizers with a makeup brush to insure my hands are not touching my face because you never know how clean your hands really are.

Hopefully this new routine will help calm my skin and clear my acne!

Bun Bun Bun

These pictures are from earlier last week when one of my teachers at school gave me
a ballet/top knot type updo! I was so in love with this look...if only i could do this to myself!

This look would be perfect for a dinner or any night out! You can achieve a similar look with a "bun maker" or even just a plain ole sock!!

DIY nail polish rack!!!!!!

This is my first DIY project ever!! And tr only materials you nee are; 3 foam boards, xacto knife, ruler, glue gun and fun duct tape!
It actually was fairly simple and took less than an hour!! Yay

Somehow I managed to get my hair up in a sock bun without the sock! I only wish I could figure out how to do it again :(

New makeup brushes by Real Techniques

I recently just picked up some new brushes at ulta.
I got the "core collection", It comes with a detailed brush, pointed foundation brush, buffing brush and a contour brush! I was so excited to buy this because I've been dying to buy a pointed dome shaped contour brush so this was perfect.
The 2nd brush I got was a stippling which I've wanted foreverrrrr so this was a must have for me.

I haven't got a chance to fully try these but I will be doing a full review on them :)

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment w/ Avocado

I'm so glad i tried this! I'm always looking for a good eye cream that
actually catches my attention when i use it everyday
and this stuff does it for me! The texture is a nice creamy finish that dries matte.
I always stayed away from this brand because i assumed it was very expensive but it really isn't too bad.

This product helps my concealer go on wayyyy smoother then any other eye cream i've tried
and i feel like it may have lightener up my dark circles because they are not as dark as they normally are, which is a HUGE plus for me.

Pros:
- Creamy
- Moisturizing
- Lightened my dark circles (might not for everyone though)
- Smell is light (almost spf like, if you don't mind that)

Cons:
- Might be more then some people are willing to pay
- In a jar (not sanitary)
